Conflans Sainte Honorine, FRANCE — 20 March, 2013 —  Thomson Broadcast has won a major contract with The Second Authority for Television and Radio, the public authority that regulates commercial broadcasts in Israel. Selecting Thomson Broadcast as a strategic partner in the extension of its nationwide DVB-T/DVB-T2 network, The Second Authority's order for new infrastructure includes two new multiplexes on thirty sites including three single frequency areas.

Bangladesh Television Extends Coverage with New Transmitter from Thomson Broadcast

PARIS — Oct. 8, 2012 — Bangladesh Television has purchased a new 10kW VHF transmitter from Thomson Broadcast to improve its coverage to the eastern city of Rangamati and its surrounding region.

Thomson Broadcast has a long-standing relationship with Bangladesh Television, having supplied the majority of the network’s transmitters.

“Bangladesh Television has relied on Thomson Broadcast transmitters for many years, and we have great confidence in the technology and the service Thomson provides,” said BTV spokesperson.

Azerbaijan’s B&B TV Chooses Thomson Broadcast Elite 100 Transmitters for Country’s First HD Broadcasts

Paris —Oct. 4, 2012 — Thomson Broadcast today announced that B&B TV Communication, the entity responsible for wireless-cable broadcasting of radio and television channels in Azerbaijan, has purchased Thomson’s latest DVB-T/DVB-T2 Elite 100 GreenPower transmitters.
