The Thomson S7HP family of high-power, DRM-ready, long- and medium-wave solid-state transmitters provides a solution for all ranges of power and comprises one "all-in-one" power amplifier block or multiple blocks with a simple combining system that does not require the extra complexity of balancing load.
Each amplifier block provides up to 400 kW RMS, using 256 power modules. The rotation of the 256 active modules enhances the exceptional reliability of the transmitter. The power modules are fully interchangeable and do not require any adjustment to cover all LW/MW frequency ranges.
The family is based on a field-proven design combination of advanced digital signal processing and simple and robust architecture. Resulting from our extensive worldwide experience in DRM service implementation, S7HP design is based on a "fully DRM ready" functional breakdown structure. A simple push of a button allows easy switch from AM to DRM mode.
