Thomson Broadcast newly acquired by ARELIS Group today announced that it will showcase at CABSAT 2013 on Hall 6 on the French Pavillon.

ARELIS group acquired in December 20th 2012 the entire transmission business portfolio  of THOMSON Broadcast including radio and television transmitter products lines as well as all scientific applications. Strongly established in the aerospace and defense markets, ARELIS diversifies with THOMSON Broadcast into civilian applications and strongly develop its international presence on both defense and civilian markets.

THOMSON Broadcast is then benefiting from a 100% French manufacturing and industrial synergies with ARELIS group extended RF and microwave activities for military applications. Moreover with ARELIS Group complete capabilities ranging from R&D to products industrialization and tests, from prototype to large series,  THOMSON Broadcast is widely extending its technological know how.

During Cabsat 2013 expo THOMSON Broadcast is highlighting its newest high-power FUTHURA Green Power TV Transmitter Family for drastic energy savings and long- term reliability. The GreenPower solutions also includes a comprehensive range of low- and medium- power range repeaters and transmitters based on the same new exciter platform as FUTHURA. This leading-edge exciter supports in dualcast        DVB-T/DVB-T2 standards and all advanced features. For a unique broadcasters flexibility, the MPLP capability allows within a single channel to deliver different services including mobile, SD, 3D, HD or digital radio with various robustness features.
